These helmet respirators offer excellent respiratory protection as well as high user comfort.

KOMPAT 88  Self-contained helmet for easy mobility, ideal for dust and asbestos and shotcrete work in mines, buildings and bridges.

  • The Kasco Kompat 88 has batteries, blower/fan unit and filters all built into the helmet. This gives the wearer complete freedom of movement when in use.
  • Self-contained for mobility, and cooler. More comfortable than half mask or full face mask respirators.
  • The Kasco Kompat 88 respirator is NIOSH approved, #TC-21C-633.
  • The helmet conforms to ANSI Z89.1.1986 class C and the visor conforms to DIN and ANSI Z87.1, 1989 standard.

  • The battery and T8 intrinsically-safe blower/fan unit are worn on a belt on the waist, providing 8 CFM of air into the helmet. Air is vented through one-way valves on the collar.
  • Four hours of operating time on a four hour battery charge. Protection class THP2.
  • The K80E helmets are made of fiberglass with a polyurethane coating.
  • The K80E helmet is approved for impact and penetration resistance to the European EN 397 standard. The helmet also conforms to ANSI Z89.1.1986 Class C and the visor conforms to ANSI Z87.1.1989 standard, MSHA approval # 2G-4045 for intrinsic safety.
  • The K80E features an adjustable headband with sweatband; spectacles and a beard can be worn inside the helmet.
  • The collar is made from polyamide (nylon) with drawstring to ensure positive pressure.
  • K80E-T8N is identical to the K80E-T8A except it has ZA2/P3 filters for organic vapour as well as dust.

K90W-T8A  Powered Air-Purifying Helmet Respirator for Welding and Sandblasting

The Kasco K90W-T8A provides NIOSH approved protection (TC-21C-627) from the dangers and discomfort produced by welding fumes.

  • The battery and intrinsically-safe blower/fan unit are worn on a belt on the waist providing 8 CFM of air to the helmet. Air is vented through one-way valves on the collar.
  • The K90 helmet is made of fiberglass with a polyurethane coating, approved for impact and penetration resistance to the European EN 397 standard, and also conforms to ANSI Z89.1.1986 Class C.
  • Features an adjustable headband, and spectacles and a beard can be worn inside the helmet.
  • The outer collar is shoulder length and made of leather with an inner polyamide (nylon) collar with drawstring to ensure positive pressure.
  • The welding lens is a flip-up type with outer Lexan shield for protection. Welding lens available in shades 5 through 12. Inner lens is made of Lexan.
