Roadways

The ability to resurface stone roads saves a fortune on bringing in new material. Normally it is not necessary to go to deep. All that is needed is to get to the depth of the potholes, deeper work will have an adverse effect on the base of the road. A hydraulically adjustable compacting roller will pack the surface As this is an operation that cannot be rushed a creep speed gearbox in the tractor or a hydrostatic drive tractor is needed. 

Forestry Mulching

In 1000 rpm PTO input speed the Multiforst becomes and powerful forestry mulcher, able to cut and mulch material up to 10" [25cm] The machine is ideal for cleaning up after clear felling, or clearing rights of ways. The compaction roller can be raised to work as a guard frame.

Tractor requirements

Tractor requirements. The maximum power suggested for the Multiforst is 160 hp at the PTO shaft. Both 540 rpm and 1000 rpm PTO speeds should be available.  The tractor should have a creep speed gearbox capable of speeds as low as 0.3 mph [0.5 kph] The machine is equipped with a PTO shaft with a torque limiter fitted to avoid damage to the machine or tractor.
