The flip screen - screening device for excavators

The FlipScreen is a unique, miniaturized screening device, which can be fitted to any sized machine used in the earthmoving, demolition, mining, quarry and fertiliser plant industries to name just a few.

A bucket with a mesh sector on top is rotated to allow the finer particles of the bucket contents to be screened out. At the end of each revolution the contents are stopped by a baffle, which holds the contents until the bucket is further rotated, wherein the opening to the bucket is then facing upward. The contents then spill over the baffle and restart their journey around the mesh section of the bucket. This rotation is continued until the smaller particles have all been screened out. Rotating the bucket in the opposite direction then ejects the larger particles.

The FlipScreen is basic in build and consists of high strength steel, hydraulic components, mesh or perforated metal, and standard earth contracting tools.

E130 FLIP SCREEN (For excavators 25 - 35 tonne / 55,120 - 77,160 lbs)

The E130 Excavator FlipScreen scoops in the same manner as a normal general purpose bucket and is therefore very easy to operate. It doesn't spill whilst slewing and can cope with almost any materials. The E130 screen is manufactured from high tensile steel and high grade components. The two oil bath drive cases are protected by steel on steel Duo-cone seals and driven on one side by a high quality hydraulic motor and 1.75 inch final drive chains, ensuring long life and durability. 

 E80 FLIP SCREEN (For excavators 18.5 - 25 tonne / 40,790 - 55,120 lbs)

Like the E130, E80 Excavator FlipScreen can be used to screen any material able to be scooped up by an excavator - including rock, sand, steel, rubbish, road gravel, manure, demolition material and compost to name just a few. The E80 FlipScreen can easily be fitted to any 18 ½ to 25 tonne excavator and can be used in the same manner as a general purpose bucket. The E80 FlipScreen is ideal for contractors wanting to increase their productivity and can screen around 600 tonnes of material a day depending on mesh size. Any sized mesh can be fitted to the E80 FlipScreen and meshes are easily interchangeable – requiring only one person and no tools. The E80 FlipScreen’s simplistic design ensures that it is extremely robust, requires minimal maintenance and is very gentle on the excavator.  

E50 FLIP SCREEN (For excavators 11 - 17 tonne / 24,250 - 37,480 lbs)

The fast, robust & reliable E50 Flip Screen efficiently and inexpensively recycles materials onsite & allows users to save bucket load loads on tip fees and increase bottom lines by reusing or reselling the screened material. The E50 is extremely portable allowing you to screen on any site, anywhere. The E50 can dramatically reduce your transport costs by minimizing and potentially eliminating the need to cart materials offsite.

LOADER AND BACKHOE FLIP SCREENS

 WL130 FLIP SCREEN (For loaders 10 - 15 tonne / 22,050 - 33,070 lbs)

The WL130 Wheel Loader Flip Screen scoops in the same manner as a normal general purpose bucket, and is therefore very easy to operate. It doesn't spill whilst travelling and can cope with almost any material at a screening rate of up to 2 ton in 10 - 12 seconds. Mesh sizes range from 20mm - 150mm (3/4" to 6") and are easily changed in under 5 minutes with no tools required. The WL130 Loader Flip Screen is manufactured from high tensile steel and high grade components. The two oil bath side arms are protected by steel on steel seals and come with double spherical bearings. The drive arms are fitted with a high quality hydraulic motors and a 1 3/4" final drive chain, ensuring long life and durability. We can also manufacture an WL130 with a removable top shell enabling it to be used as a general purpose bucket.

 BL80 FLIP SCREEN (For backhoes & loaders 8 - 12 tonne / 17,640 - 26,460 lbs)

Save bucket loads on tip fees, raw materials and transports costs by screening onsite with the super tough BL80 Flip Screen. Made to withstand the toughest conditions the BL80 Flip Screen is suited to backhoes, wheel loaders and telehandlers and has a capacity of 0.8 cubic metres. The BL80’s super high-tensile mesh screens range in aperture size from ¾” to 4” (20mm to 100mm) and are easily changed by one person in under 5 minutes.

 WL250 FLIP SCREEN (For loaders 25 - 30 tonne / 55,120 - 66,140 lbs)

Our newest model, the WL250 Flip Screen is the largest in our range with a 2.5 cubic metre cacpity bucket. This super high-volume screening bucket is built rock solid and has all the versatility of our smaller models with a screen aperture range of 3/4" to 6".
