  • The battery and T8 intrinsically-safe blower/fan unit are worn on a belt on the waist, providing 8 CFM of air into the helmet. Air is vented through one-way valves on the collar.
  • Four hours of operating time on a four hour battery charge. Protection class THP2.
  • The K80E helmets are made of fiberglass with a polyurethane coating.
  • The K80E helmet is approved for impact and penetration resistance to the European EN 397 standard. The helmet also conforms to ANSI Z89.1.1986 Class C and the visor conforms to ANSI Z87.1.1989 standard, MSHA approval # 2G-4045 for intrinsic safety.
  • The K80E features an adjustable headband with sweatband; spectacles and a beard can be worn inside the helmet.
  • The collar is made from polyamide (nylon) with drawstring to ensure positive pressure.
  • K80E-T8N is identical to the K80E-T8A except it has ZA2/P3 filters for organic vapour as well as dust.

APOLLO  Ideal for use in Poultry & Hog Barns

A lightweight but tough fiberglass helmet respirator with flip-up visor, blower/fan unit and two dust filters in the helmet. The 4 hour battery is worn on a belt around the waist. The blower/fan unit will operate for four hours on a four hour charge, producing 7.25 CFM.

 

The optional SP9 cigarette lighter cableallows the Apollo to be used from a tractor's12 volt system.

 

The Apollo gives you freedom of movement while offering the advantages of a powered air-purifying helmet respirator. The filters remove 97% of all particulate matter.
